Comedian Njoro of the famous local drama Papa Shirandula has explained how together with fellow comedians, they are helping in paying Papa's daughter school fees.
Speaking to Buzz Central, Njoro talked about his promise to educate Papa Shirandula's daughter.
In July last year, while paying tribute to the late Charles Bukeko on his first death anniversary, media personality Jalang’o alongside Njoro(Papa Shirandula cast) and Captain Otoyo promised to cater for Papa’s youngest daughter-Sherry school fees until she completes school.
Njoro said;
"Me, Otoyo and Jalas have our cuts and we know how it is divided. We are paying through Jalang'o. We decided not to give it to the parent so the fee is paid directly to the school."
Njoro also recounted one of the times they differed with his best friend the late Papa Shirandura when he mistakenly took his water and drank it.
"We were shooting in a harsh environment, when we got back to the bus, I picked the nearest water and drank it. But it was his and he was thirty. When he saw me, he roughed me up and we were separated. I apologised and in the evening that day, we were at rangers dancing to Kidum. It was just temper and we were hungry."
