Alex Murimi Nderi aka, DJ Lithium took his own life on Wednesday night, an incident that still has Kenyans shocked and surprised.

One of the people still coming to terms with the incident is the late deejay's colleague, Nadia Favre who remembered the late spinmaster who had worked at the station for 8 years.

Her eulogy read, "It's an unbelievably devastating day at @CapitalFMKenya as we grieve losing one of our own."

Adding, "Alex was a kind, gentle and creative man. A patient producer and spectacular DJ. I will miss seeing his face every morning. Rest in peace DJ Lithium."

Some of the comments from Kenyan who read the message are below:

Amatikide Murunga Am so sorry. I knew him by virtue of listening to his amazing mixes on @CapitalFM, the last one being last Friday! It’s often hard to process this kind of news.

Wambui Mwangi We met him as #TribeCapitalFM during @DeejayADRIAN's 50th birthday. Such a wonderful human

B.L.A.C.K. M.A.M.B.A Just interacting with him through the 98.4 frequency... Made me fond of him. He sure was good at his grind... And a good soul. Rest Eazzy Lithium.

On Wednesday evening, DJ Lithium collapsed at Capital FM offices and left behind a suicide note. It is at this point that his workmates tried to resuscitate him but to no avail.
