Activist Boniface Mwangi has shared an incident where his wife Njeri was harassed by Matatu touts.
He says the touts touched her wife inappropriately and went on to throw insults at them.
Bonnie shared a video of the touts who kept insulting them after the incident. They challenged him to take a video of the Matatu and even air it on TV.
"This country went to the dogs. I was walking down Kangundo Road with my wife a few minutes ago, the bottom feeder in a striped T-shirt touched her when she asked why they started throwing insults and grabbing their private parts. Impunity is so deep that they feel untouchable! How does this happen to women?" Bonnie posed.
The activist urged women to share their experiences in the hands of such rowdy touts.
He got responses on how the touts are used to touching women inappropriately and throwing insults at them.
Bonnie expressed disappointment that the victims may never get justice because of the corruption in the justice systems in Kenya.
"Women are saying they experience non-consensual touch every day in the hands of strangers especially Public Service Vehicles conductors. The touts know every cop has a price, the bribe is more powerful than justice. Police corruption is the biggest reason why it happens," Bonnie shared.
Here is a video of the ill-mannered touts.
