The political season here and fresh faces have decided to join the race.

We take a look at some prominent people who have vied in the past and failed. Are they brave to try again?

Steve Mbogo

In 2017 Flamboyant business man Steve Mbogo vied for a Member of Parliament seat in Starehe Constituency.

The seat is currently held by 'Kigeugeu' hitmaker Charles Kanyi alias Jaguar.

Mbogo is also vying for the same seat in 2022, do you think he will get it?

Karen Nyamu

Karen in the past vied for a Woman Representative seat for Nairobi Country with no success.

In 2022 she is vying for the Senator seat which is currently held by Johnson Sakaja.

We doubt if she will clinch this seat but hii Nairobi si kazi ni kujaribu tu?

Jose Chameleone

Ugandan musician turned politician Joseph Mayanja, popularly known as Jose Chameleone, lost in his quest to become the Lord Mayor of Kampala in the just concluded Ugandan elections.

Chameleone lost the post to Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) candidate Erias Lukwago who managed to defend his seat, after garnering 194,592 votes, according to local reports.

This was the first time Chameleone was vying.

Bobi Wine

In 2021 Bobi Wine lost to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.

Bobi was vying for the Presidential seat in Uganda under an independent ticket.

Museveni, a former guerrilla leader who has led the East African country since 1986, was declared the winner of the January 14 election with 59 per cent of the vote, while Bobi Wine won 35 per cent of the votes.
