A Kenyan man has proved his allegiance to Deputy President William Ruto through a tattoo on his back.

The man has painted a portrait picture of William Ruto in a detailed tattoo that clearly shows his face, shirt, coat and neck tie.

The man got the tattoo at a studio in Kitengela.

The tattoo has sparked mixed reactions on social media.

While some netizens are impressed with the 'loyalty' displayed by the man, some describe it as sycophancy that he could regret later on.

Here are some comments.

@ Chebos - "Let us run away from political mistakes that have been committted by others before(x4), and avoid losing the target. This one is wrong."

@ Thomas - "Hii ni bangi tu, hakuna kitu ingine."

@ Abala - "Ruto will be president but not in 2022, maybe later. I won't charge you for that info. So stop getting excited for nothing."

@ Euty - "The writers of the Hebrew Bible forbade tattooing. Per Leviticus 19:28, “You shall not make gashes in your flesh for the dead, or incise any marks on yourselves.”
