Fitness Coach Frankie JustGymIt has shared that his son underwent surgery to remove adenoids.
After a long struggle with sleep apnea, the 1-year-old had to undergo the procedure to remove the adenoids that caused him difficulties in breathing.
"We have decided to do the surgery for Adenoids. The first step is to check his heart and general health. Adenoids can cause an enlargement of the heart if overlooked for a long time. Adenoids cause sleep apnea, which puts a lot of stress on the heart," Frankie shared.
The father of four said his son always has some difficulties sleeping, and it is worse when he is sleeping.
"This boy doesn't use his nose for breathing, he always uses his mouth. Thats why you always see he has a runny nose. The only thing we can do is surgery, we have tried every home remedy but it hasn't worked."
Frankie shared that his son responded to the surgery well and his breathing has improved.
"The doctor said he is going to snore for a week, but his breathing is better now. He is not congested," he said.
