Kenyan singer Maandy has warned upcoming rapper Kanambo against falling for false promises from people.
Kanambo has been captured in several occasions freestyling in the streets of Nairobi. His rap skills are gaining the attention of Kenyans, especially music artists.
After coming across a video of Kanambo's rap, rapper King Kaka asked for her details. This could mean that Kaka would love to mentor the rapper or sign her into his label, Kaka Empire.
The two met and Kanambo shared,
"Au sio. Thanks alot King Kaka blessings follow you every day I don't take it for granted."
Now, Maandy has warned Kanambo against trusting people and entertaining them anytime they ask.
"Word of advice to that girl freestyling. Do not accept to do a song or any mainstream act. Don't. You are brilliant on your own. Wanataka kukutumia," Maandy warned.
