Reverend Lucy Natasha alias the Oracle of God had a triumphant 2021 as far as her personal life goes.

The founder of Empowerment Christian Church (ECC) got hitched in a surprise pairing that shocked media and Kenyans at large.

In November, Lucy got engaged to Prophet Stanley Carmel, a minister of Indian heritage prooving that love still comes in all colours and sizes.

During a recent interview with NTV, the woman of God explained how getting engaged to Mr. Carmel had been her 2021 highlight.

"One of the greatest blessings of 2021 was having a life partner. A man that I like to call my king, my priest, and my prophet."

And how did the two meet? Canadian preacher Mr. Carmel slid into her DM's. Yep, even spirit-filled people do that!

During their engagement dinner at Boma Hotel, Prophet Carmel said, "Every love story is beautiful but ours is my favourite. In 2017 I was invited to preach in a film director's house, I was preaching about a royal wedding."

Adding, "After my preaching, the wife of that film director came to me and showed me a clip which was 4 minutes and 13 seconds, then she said to me, last night, I was listening to the same preaching from a lady preacher from Kenya and she was preaching about a royal wedding."

Carmel continued, "I felt the spark immediately. I said, 'I need to connect'. I slid into her DM. It was not easy but finally, after many many tries...it is very hard to get the heart of a queen, we met for a kingdom assignment in the USA and the rest is history."

If only all love stories start and end up like this!? One can only hope.
