Tanzanian musician Nandy has praised the late Ruge Mutahaba for the role he played in ensuring her dream of owning a lipstick brand.
Ruge was a Clouds FM media titan who passed away in 2019. Before his death, he and Nandy were dating but the details of the affair became publicized after his passing.
Speaking during an interview with Dizzim Online, she said;
"He (Ruge) really supported me. He is the first person who took me to China to see the industries. He believed in my dream to own a lipstick line.
He took me there to meet the people and compare prices and choose what I wanted. Even though it has taken me two years to make this a reality."
Nandy recently launched her own lipstick brand dubbed 'Shu Shi'. She says the project has taken 2 years to implement but she is glad that it is now a dream turned to reality.
