Alex Mwakideu and his wife,  Mariam Mwemba Mwakideu,  are celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary this Christmas period.

Mwakideu penned a lovely message for the mother of his 3 kids, writing,

"Seven Years na mtoto msafi wa Mbololo! Nakupenda sana@deembela. I would still choose YOU TODAY!!! Cheers to many more years of awesomeness!"

The Milele FM radio presenter married Mariam (who works as a nurse) on December 27, 2014, with the couple being blessed with three beautiful daughters.

The two had been dating since 2002. In a past interview on The Wicked Edition, Mwakideu admitted that the only person he trusted was his late mother.

"My wife is not even on my list of loyal people. I don’t trust people. The only person I ever trusted was my mother. I trusted her with my whole heart, she would do anything for me. Trust might be a foundation of marriage but marriage is just marriage," he noted.

He added that loyalty and trust are never easy to give nor receive.

"I love my wife so much but there is a difference between trust and loyalty. I can take a bullet for my kids upfront but for my wife, I would have to think about it."

Sadly, Alex Mwakideu lost his mom in May 2019.
