Former Tahidi High actress, Veronica Mwaura, who used to play the role of Miss Obija is seriously ill. This information was revealed in a statement by the Secretary-General of the Kenya Cultural Centre Association of Artiste.
In the statement, the association noted that Veronica who is also a Theatre arts producer had been admitted a few days ago and was in a terrible state.
The statement added that Actors Welfare Committee was seeking help from the public to help with Veronica's hospital bill.

"The Theatre and film industry has been facing a great storm of misfortunes.
Currently, we have a legend, a Theatre arts producer, a strong woman by the name Veronica Mwaura; Producer PAMBAZUKA ARTS PRODUCTION who was admitted a few days ago seriously ill.
