Former Inooro TV presenter Muthoni Mukiri was tired of paying her bills alone.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, Muthoni said she however did not want to rush things and so she prayed for her man before she met him.
"It was not just getting married but getting married to a life partner. As a single person sometimes you are tired of paying your bills, servicing your car, doing your birthday parties all those things alone.
Sometimes you feel you want to be taken care of and be pampered as a woman," she said.
Muthoni however said that she was ready to wait until 50 years if she had not gotten the right man.
"Even single guys, sometimes get tired of cooking for themselves and ironing their clothes. Sometimes you get tired and end up rushing into things but I said, lemme pay my rent till I am 50 years rather than rushing and end up in a toxic relationship."
Muthoni married her lover Isaac Njoroge in a private ceremony held at the Windsor Country Club last month.
"We dated for two years and I already knew this is who I wanted for a husband. I wanted to date someone who is human and calm. There are those who can call you all sought of names. I wanted to date someone who has the same values as mine."
