Jazz Maestro Aaron Rimbui has shared how he met the Sauti Sol Music group leading to some of their biggest projects years later.

In an interview with Anyiko, Aaron recalled how he was impressed with Sauti Sol the first time he set his eyes on them.

"I met Sauti Sol at Eric Wainaina's wedding, I was coming in for soundcheck. It was early 2008 and I didn't know about them. I went upstairs and asked Eric 'Who are these guys?' Immediately, I realized the guys have something...I introduced myself," he shared.

Aaron said he fell in love with Sauti Sol's vibe and believed he would work with them one day.

"I was a fan before working with them. Then we ended up meeting and collaborating, I have been on their album."

The 42-year-old Jazz Maestro also shared how the 'Bald Men Love Better' album was born just out of a single visit to Bien's home.

"Bensoul came up with an interesting hook line...Bien was going upstairs to get dressed, he started singing a line and we told him to come back and put that on voice note. We wrote one complete song that day," Aaron said.

After Bien listened to the song created that day, he reached out to Aaron for an album.
