Sally Wangeci Maingi will be laid to rest today at her parents home at Suswa, Subukia, Nakuru County.

Her body landed in a chopper and will be buried after a funeral ceremony attended by close friends and family.

Details of her life and death were read out at the ceremony where she was lauded as an interior design and hospitality industry practitioner.

About her demise, the eulogy detailed how she was in a car accident back in 2015 in Nanyuki where she sustained a spinal injury.

The injury saw her seek further treatment in Nairobi and later in India in 2018. Throughout that period she was under medication for back-related complications.

On her last day on earth, Sally complained of back pain and she was given medication, she collapsed right after and was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead on December 12, 2021.

The eulogy announced, "Sally’s joyful spirit, giving heart, and warm smile will be deeply missed. We thank God for her life and the genuine affection with which she enveloped all who knew her."

Sally is survived by three children.
