Singer Nadia Mukami's hit song 'Tesa' has received a copyright strike on YouTube leading the artiste to rant about that fact.
Nadia also shared the song which she claims to have lifted a part of it leading to the copyright strike. She added that she could be heading to court to teach the person behind the song a lesson.
"I am officially going to court. I am ready to spend all money I have to ensure no person in the Kenyan music industry will ever send a malicious copyright strike," she said.
"A song released two years ago has a copyright strike from a one-year-old song. This person will serve as an example to people sending malicious strikes," she wrote.
In most cases, when a song receives a copyright strike, the artiste suffers a major blow with the song being removed from YouTube.
In June, Mejja's song 'Tabia za Wakenya' was deleted from YouTube after it accumulated more than two million views.
"I will never give in but I am done being the humble guy. I will deal with this one! I am so frustrated," he said.
