Grandpa Records CEO Yusuf Noah alias Refigah has called it quits at the legendary music label.

In an interview on Radio Maisha, Refigah said he is in the process of bringing a new team on board to take the record label to the next level.

He clarified that he still owns the record, but will keep off its management.

''I am stepping aside from music management for some time because I believe there is a younger person who is more talented and can take this music industry to the next level. I still own Grandpa Records, I have a new team, a new CEO and we will introduce them to Kenyans soon," Refigah said.

The Grandpa Owner is also known for his charity activities in Kibra, where he was brought up.

His links to politicians in the country has sparked speculations that Refigah is taking a step back from music to concentrate on a political career.

''Right now I can not say I am going into politics, those are just rumours but you never know. If God guides me in that direction then I will do it. In the meantime, I am a farmer, I do farming," he said.
