DNG
Media personality Dickson Ngibuini, alias DNG, will run for the Woodley-Kenyatta Golf Course MCA seat.
Declaring his bid, he said he did not vie in 2017 because at the time the ruling party had nothing to offer the youth.
Maji Maji
Popular musician Julius Owino popularly known as Maji Maji has also declared interest in a political seat.
Maji Maji will vie for the Embakasi ward seat in the August General Election.
The musician said he is contesting for the seat in order to help the residents who have been marginalized by the current leaders.
The current MP for Embakasi East is Babu Owino, while that of Embakasi West is George Theuri.
Jamal Gaddafi
Jamal, a former journalist with the Kenya Television Network (KTN) has joined the crowded race for the Malindi Parliamentary seat currently held by outspoken legislator Aisha Jumwa.
Jamali Gaddafi, 35, declared his bid for the seat that has already attracted seven other contestants while attending a religious function in Malindi town Monday.
Jumwa will not defend the seat as she is seeking to succeed Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi.

The Morning Kiss host will be vying for a Member of Parliament seat in Langata.
He will be competing to try and unseat Nixon Korir who is the current MP.
Jalango will be vying under an ODM ticket.
Tony Kwalanda
The Switch TV sports presenter will be vying for a Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat in Kakamega, Manda Shivanga ward.
He says it's time the youth took charge as we have watched for way too long.
MC Jessy
The ex Churchill-Raw host will be vying for the Member of Parliament seat in South Imenti.
He announced his intention this year and we can't help but wish him the best.
Mwanaisha Chidzuga
Former K24 news anchor Mwanaisha Chidzuga is eyeing the Matuga MP seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket in 2022.
Chidzuga has already hit the campaign trail, distributing campaign merchandise and pushing her agenda for her constituents.
She is the daughter of the late Zainab Chidzuga.
In an interview on Radio Jambo, Chidzuga said her mother had supported her political ambition even before she passed away.
Fred Akali
Fred Akali a popular presenter on Mulembe FM will also be among radio personalities vying for a political seat.
In 2022, he wants to be elected Member of the County Assembly for Kisa Central Ward in Kakamega Constituency.
