Sauti Sol is really the biggest name in the game at the moment with the band announcing that tickets for their December 12th concert have sold out!

Using their Instagram page, the band wrote, 

"SOL Fest is totally SOLD OUT! Thank you all for believing in our dream. Y'all have always supported our moves and stood by us during trying times."

The band then went on to praise their fans for being there for them and promised to keep releasing quality content for them,

"Words alone cannot express our gratitude and we shall continuously endeavor to repay your love and support by producing quality content, pushing boundaries, and transcending the limits of art."

They then commiserated with fans who had missed out on a ticket (and wanted to attend) saying that they would perform in bigger venues in the future.

"Moving forward we will plan for bigger venues and might even consider a national stadium to accommodate everyone. But in the meantime, we have arranged for a live stream of the event with @homeboyzkenya that will happen at the same time. Stay tuned for more details."

This is truly a flex if ever there was one. This will surely be an indictment for anyone questioning Kenyan music.

Let's not forget that early bird tickets that cost 2.5 k sold out just hours after they had been put up for sale. Even the VIP tickets that cost 8k sold out hours later! 

That's not all, all the tickets were put up less than two weeks ago! That just shows just how much sway and power Africa's best band has!
