Simping is a term that has entered the modern lexicon in the past few years with many men being shamed for it.
According to Urban Dictionary, a simp is “someone who does way too much for a person they like.”
Unfortunately, the Oxford English Dictionary has not decided to weigh in on simping yet, so Urban Dictionary is the highest authority we have.
Still, even that simple definition is pretty comprehensive. In essence, a simp is someone who sucks up, schmoozes or otherwise fawns over another person — typically a person they’re interested in romantically.
But I disagree, I believe that simping for a girl you love is a great thing. In fact, it makes you look even manlier because it’s every man’s responsibility to pamper the love of their life.
Any man that makes fun of you for simping for your lady is nothing close to a true gentleman.
Nothing depicts male dominancy like playing your role as a man in a woman’s wife. Of course, before you even decided to simp for her it means that you know she deserves the treatment.
If the lady loves you back and gives you the respect you deserve as a man, you are not making any mistake.
Simping only becomes wrong when you are doing it for the girl that does not reciprocate the same energy.
Once you notice this, it’s very okay to walk away. That is after you feel like you have done your best to get her attention.
This way you save your dignity and don’t worry, your worthiness as a man still stands tall. Simping is a strong act of love that makes your relationship even stronger and more interesting.
