Lately, the president of comedy Africa Eric Omondi has been at loggerheads with artists, not only locally but internationally as well.
He has once again addressed the nation ahead of AFRO-VASHA concert that will be graced by Bongo stars Alikiba and Harmonize.
He has urged Kenyans to boycott it if the organizers do not heed his request of changing the poster that portrays our own artists as lesser brands which he has said in the past was disrespectful.
This message has gotten both positive and negative reactions from his fans, mostly Kenyans and Tanzanians.
Some fans are questioning Eric’s loyalty to our Kenyan industry by the fact that he also goes to other countries.
Tanzania is one of the countries that has played host to the comedian's shows. Some Tanzanian fans have also shared their disappointment towards Eric reminding him that whenever a huge Kenyan artist is going to perform in their country, they are given the first priority since they are their guests.
Others have gone ahead to acknowledge that Eric is actually making sense but have urged him to focus on comedians alone and leave the rest of the artists out of it.
Are you among those who will be influenced by Eric Omondi not to attend the Afro-Vasha event or will you attend it anyway?
