• If your ex ends up having an eye for your best friend and the feeling becomes mutual for the two, it's only fair to let them be.

Truth is, it will definitely hurt if it ever happens. Let me be the devil’s advocate and spill it; calling that betrayal is just a way of being selfish.

If it did not work out with you then let your best friend try it out. If it falls apart then I guess it’s a whole pity party.

Anyways, a wise man once said, "It’s better to try and fail than not to try at all." Such scenes happen among guys and they don’t fuss about it.

It’s only fair that we let nature play its part. The truth is ladies, there are no rules to this game of love.

Honestly, if you ask me, sometimes females just overrate this title best friend. If your ex ends up having an eye for your best friend and the feeling becomes mutual for the two, it's only fair to let them be.

Fact is, you and your ex were not meant for each other and that is why the relationship came to an end.

If you feel jealous about their union then it makes no sense because you had the chance to save your relationship but decided to let it slide.

And I am not talking about a situation where your best friend encouraged you to leave the guy then goes behind your back to date him. That’s definitely betrayal.

If it mutually happens after a few months of the break up then it's okay. If it mutually happens and you end up losing your best friend, then maybe you guys were not meant to be friends in the first place.

Sometimes you have to lose something to gain something.

PS, this only applies if it’s not a shady plan to get back at you.
