Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai has spoken about her ex-husband Ben Pol.
In an interview with Tanzanian Media outlets, Anerlisa was asked about how she felt after Ben Pol spoke about their nasty divorce months ago.
For Anerlisa, Ben Pol was wrong for speaking about their marriage since whatever transpired between them shouldn't have been made public.
She said that Ben Pol lacked respect by talking about their marriage that only lasted for months.
“What people do not understand is that marriage is not like a normal relationship. It should be respected, you can not go about talking about marriage…you did this and this. The best thing is to respect it and not talk about it," Anerlisa said.
She added that she felt bad since marriage counselors had advised them not to publicize the issue.
“You know we went for church teachings and we were told not to talk about marriage and what happens after that..if you break up do not talk about it. It was a bit too much," Anerlisa remarked.
She revealed that the singer converted to Islam, but later on turned back to Christianity after two weeks.
However, Anerlisa was skeptical about delving much into the Ben Pol drama to protect her image.
“I would wish to talk much but because of my family and image, I will not. I also do not want to drag him down," she said.
She added that she does not regret getting divorced, or dating the Tanzanian singer.
