Over the weekend, politician and lawyer Karen Nyamu held a flashy birthday party for her second child at the Muthaiga golf club.

The blue and white themed invite-only event was attended by a few family members and close friends. 

Celebrating her son, Sam Junior, Karen posted a birthday message.

"My baby you’re a beautiful blessing to me. You deserve the very best life has to offer. You have taught me a love I didn’t know before. Our bond is one of life’s most precious gifts. Dadi, you can count on me to always be there."

Karen continued, "I’ll fight your battles, and if I give up on any you can be sure that mommy tried her best. I look forward to beautiful moments ahead of us. I love you too much baby. Happy birthday, son! My son."

While Samidoh may not have attended the glitzy affair at the members club, he did wish his youngest son, a happy birthday.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights. I thank God for his blessings, favour and provision," he wrote.

Adding, "The gift of progeny (child), am grateful for adding another arrow in my quiver. Happy birthday, son."

Karen also rocked a tightly fitting white top that hugged her bulging babu bump.

In a past post, Karen talked about getting more children.

 "Sometimes, when I look at my children, I don't believe I have my son. It is still surreal and too good to be true! Who can relate? I am so grateful to be a mommy of two. I always thought to myself, Karen, you're too much woman to have just one child. God listened to that prayer! Let me hear your testimonies too. It’s a beautiful Sunday," she wrote.

In another video post, Karen confessed, "That man is fertile, children are blessings. Love is stupid."
