Singer Noti Flow is suing her ex-boyfriend for assault.
In an Instagram post, Noti said the law has to take its cause despite them being friends and making peace.
"Yes I am still suing my ex that assaulted me ... he and I are friends and still talk from time to time but the law has to take its course," she said.
Noti flow added;
"I forgave him, I have peace at heart and moved on... As a public figure that you girls and young sisters look up to, I must go through with this.
I vowed to make sure justice is served and that's exactly what I'm doing coz I keep my word.
Society needs to know that not under any circumstances should they condone violence against women and gender-based violence. There is law!"
Early this year, Noti Flow said she had been abused by her ex-boyfriend, leading to a police case.
In a candid conversation, Noti Flow addressed the violence she has faced at the hands of her male exes, saying she is quite happy in her current relationship.
"I got him arrested and he was crying like a baby. Behind bars is where such criminals belong. Assault is a serious case guys. Be woke. Don’t throw your lives away. We have an ongoing court case and I will make sure justice is served," Noti wrote.
The ‘Foto Moto’ hitmaker says although she pressed charges against him, the process was quite a hustle and she almost gave up.
