Sam Ogina has never been more popular than he is today. As many of you might know, Eric Omondi is the reason for his newfound infamy.

After Eric's allegation that Sam (which he has strenuously denied) was dating Jacque Maribe when he slept with her, many Kenyans wanted to know more about the man?

From the little we can gather, let's begin;

Firstly, he studied at Daystar University, a Christian liberal arts university.

Secondly, he works as a journalist for Royal Media Services owned Citizen TV. Before working at the SK Macharia owned station, Sam had a stint at KTN as a political affairs journalist from 2012 to 2016.

In July 2017, Sam and two other journalists narrowly escaped death when the six-seater Cessna 206 they were travelling in reportedly crashed shortly after taking off from Wilson airport.

Sam, Joseph Njane and videographer Mauritius Oduor all survived with minimal injuries.

Thirdly, he is married to Njeri Priscathy Ogina. The two tied the knot on 6 October 2018 at the All Saints Cathedral. The couple had dated from the early 2010s. 

After their one-year anniversary, the couple exchanged lovely messages, with Ogina writing,

“And we are one. This date 06.10.2018 was marked by happy moments and broad smiles. One year down the line the smiles are still there. Thank you so much. A toast to many more and lots of love,” Ogina posted. 

A message which Njeri responded with,

“We aced it love, one year down many more to go. Lots of love and blessings to you today and always.”

Fourth, Ogina is a staunch Christian who attends All Saints Cathedral regularly. This is also the venue he exchanged his vows at.

Lastly, Ogina is a sharp and stylish dresser. This is according to people who have interacted with him.
