Singer Lil Wayne has denounced the existence of racism.

In an interview with Associated Press, Lil Wayne narrated his childhood experience where a white doctor saved his life.

" I don't know what racism is, at the age of 12 years old I shot myself, I was in the house, police knocked the door, I was right there, they knocked the door down.

Everybody jumped over my body ‘let’s go get the guns and drugs’ and whatever they could find, it took one guy to stop right there, ‘what the f** y’all doing, do you not see this kid on the floor with this hole in his chest’

He piked me up and brought me to the hospital, and stood there and waited until the doctor said, ‘ he’s gonna make it,’ he was white as snow, the mother f**s that hopped over me were blacker than me," Lil Wayne said.

The interviewer asked Lil Wayne if the white guy was a cop and he responds ‘ Yeah he was a cop and my life was saved by a white man'.

In another interview at Skip and Shannon, Lil Wayne says he has never dealt with racism.

"God knows I have been nothing but a blessing, I haven't, I have never and you know never is a strong word never dealt with racism and I'm glad I didn't have to and I don't know its because of my blessings. I dont know if its my reality."

By his blessing, he says he means his position as a person and a prominent person in the black community.
