Ruth Matete has shared how she met her late husband Beloved John. The mother of one says she knew he was the one the instance they met.

Speaking during an interview on 'Kalekye's Health Moments'. Ruth shared, "We met in 2017 and right from the start we knew we wanted to be together. We dated from 2017 to 2019.

November 22, 2019 is when we had our wedding and started living together."

 Ruth says her husband died just weeks after she found out she was pregnant.

"We had just found out we were expecting a week before the accident happened. We bought gas and the cylinder and it was faulty. He took it to the balcony and tried to fix it.

I used to hang my clothes on the balcony and there were other things there.Unfortunately as he was releasing the gas he released too much of it.

He also did not wait for it to evaporate, it was still in t.he air and he tried to light the cylinder to see if it was working and that’s when it exploded.

We rushed him to the hospital and he was there for two weeks. He was in ICU for a week and then 1 week in the normal ward."
