Jamaican superstar Etana has opened up about her tour of the city. The singer jetted in on Wednesday morning ahead of her show this weekend.
At a press conference hosted at Ole Sereni, Etana said, "Today I had ugali and I love the way they cook the meat. I know I'm not supposed to eat red meat and I don't eat it a lot, but I like the way they cook the meat. I don't have a favourite dish, I just love everything you guys cook."
She will be headlining the Pamoja Festival at Ngong Race Course on Saturday night.
Speaking about the planned performance, Etana said, "The last rehearsal that we did we could not finish the whole show because it is lengthy and wicked. I'm excited about it."
She has 8 albums and over 200 songs, Etana promises, "The catalogue is huge and I always try to cover as much as possible and it is not possible for me to do every single song in one night."
Asked if she will consider working with other new Kenyan artists, Etana said, "There is no limit to music and there will be more opportunities to work with them. I'm not afraid to record with a new artiste, it is a good thing to share and give other people the opportunity as well because someone gave it to me and I'm passing it on."
