Activist Boniface Mwangi was last night in a panic after his house in Lukenya that was under construction was last night bombed by unknown people. The attack saw his house blown up and the foundation destroyed.
Boniface says that his workers were robbed by the attackers and guns were shot but there are no casualties.
Taking to his social media he wrote, "I’m a resident of Lukenya, Machakos County. I can’t go there now for safety reasons... The bullets, the explosives they used are on the scene. So what kind of a country are we living in?"
Adding, "I still don't fear because the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want, He shall protect me. To the government, the bullets and the remnants of the explosive are in my compound. All l ask is an open and transparent investigation. If speaking the truth will get me killed, I’m ready to die. I'm hurting, but my spirit isn't broken. Even this will pass."
Bonny was trending for the better part of yesterday.
Police say they are investigating the incident.
