Diamond Platnumz's rarely if ever speaks on relationships and when he does it is normally in relation to a question he has been asked by the media concerning one of his exes.

But it seems that Chibu has seen it fit to share some tidbits of wisdom to his more than 13 million followers on Instagram.

East Africa's most popular musician spoke about relationships and told his followers to focus on making money and not relationships, writing;

"Focus on your work, because the results will always be positive...but if you focus on the relationship the results will always be negative and disappointing...Take it from the Lion." 

His post makes a lot of sense considering the carnage in Diamond's relationship past. The man has dated more than 10 women that we know of and never married any of them.

And that's not all, the musician has 3 baby mamas and 4 kids with 3 different celebs from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

One common thing among all these relationships is that they all ended on contentious terms. So to say that he has a poor relationship record would be an understatement.

But at the end of the day, who is the common denominator in all these failures?  Hmmm...
