Boniface Mwangi is trending for all the wrong reasons on Twitter, with one of them being the way he has dealt with Juliani's relationship with Lillian Ng'ang'a.
The father of 3 made his close friend's relationship with Lillian Ng'ang'a a trending topic on social media after posting a message advising people to let go of toxic relationships.
On Saturday, Bonny shared the pictures of Juliani and Lilian, advising people not to feel entitled to their partners.
"I'm here to offend those men who behave like their partners are personal assets. Assets are dead things,they have no feelings or emotions.
Partners have flesh and blood, they can move on and you can do nothing about it. Money doesn't make a man, manners do.Pesa bila tabia ni sumu," Bony wrote.

His post got Kenyans talking again about something that they had all but forgotten and accepted, something that frustrated the like of Juliani himself.
In a since-tweet, Juliani wrote;
"G @BonifaceMwangi you know I love you. I know you mean well lakini ingekuwa proper utusho kabla kupost pics. Bless up."
The two later clarified that there is no bad blood between them.
Now, this is where I come in. While many have rightly blamed Boniface for lacking boundaries as far as his post went, I see more to the fiasco.
I think that when you become a close friend of the activist, you get the full Boniface Mwangi experience. That means that you get the good with the bad.
Boniface sees life through the lens of a human rights activist-That means that it is nearly impossible for him to set boundaries when agitating between issues that involve his close friends and those that are general in Kenyan society.
Him speaking about Juliani wasn't a bug in Mr. Mwangi's system but a feature. You see he hasn't become who he is in life without taking it to the man, both personally and professionally.
So when Boniface spoke up recently about his friend's relationship it wasn't done out of spite or malice, it was something he would do for himself in a heartbeat.
In fact, I believe he thought he was doing the right thing and must have been perplexed about all the fuss that his actions brought on him because his actions were those of a friend.
At the end of the day, one has to ask whether Juliani should cut of Boniface? I think he shouldn't for the simple fact that his type of loyalty is hard to find in this day and age of fake friends.
Juliani should take this experience as a learning experience, forgive Boniface and entail the boundaries he wants for their relationship.
While Boniface might always go charging into a fight online and offline, I believe clear and well-stated boundaries from a friend would be honoured by him.
