Kenyan actor Sammy ‘Nagi’ Jacuzzi is nursing injuries at a hospital in USA after being shot by an unknown person.
The Hollywood star revealed that the 3 shots on his upper body left him in a coma for two days, and had to undergo two surgeries.
"My people... sometimes bad things happen to good people. Late last week, same day my scene from movie "Black as Night" went viral.
I was leaving gas station ck mart off broad river in Columbia my hometown in SC, as I walked out somebody I don't even know shot me 3 times in the upper body.
Point blank range. Been in the hospital ever since..over 2 days in a coma, 2 open chest surgeries," he wrote in part.
In a post on his social media on Friday, Nagi said that he is responding well to treatment and is out of danger.
"I did nothing to deserve it..Hard to understand... One thing I can say is I love God with all my heart... I'm walking, talking, moving... doctors calling it a miracle.
Buts it's all God's grace. I'm a real life warrior. I haven't had my phone since this happ so apologies if you've tried to call.... been fighting for my life," he wrote.
The Hollywood actor called on his fans to help in contributing towards his medical bill.
He advocated for the end of gun violence in the United States of America.
Sammy was featured in 'Black as Night' a movie that premiered on Amazon Prime Video on October 1.
