Kamene Goro has shared her experience growing up under strict parents.

The outspoken presenter says like most African parents, hers had everything 'planned out'. Speaking during the Morning Kiss Kamene shared, "Weekends were meant for homework, church, golf, home.

You couldn't even cry in the supermarket, utawachwa. They were super strict and only loosened up after we became adults.

The minute I got the freedom I went crazy. I blame them for my being rebellious. That is why niliharibika my parents' strictness is what ruined me.

If they were not as strict I would not be as rebellious as I am today, I would be as soft as Nicah."

Kamene comes from a family of three.

She has a brother and a sister who turned 20 last year.
