Mwalimu King'ang'i has asked Kenyans to walk away from toxic relationships instead of hanging around and end up dead.

Speaking during the Morning Conversation on Classic 105 alongside Maina Kageni, Mwalimu advised, "Guys, don't stay in a toxic relationship. It's not worth it and talks to someone if you can."

The debate was based on the recent murder of the World's 10,000 metres bronze medalist Agnes Tirop.

The murder has been linked to a possible love triangle. Tirop was found murdered at her home on Rural Estate near Iten town in Elgeyo Marakwet on Wednesday.

Below are some of the narrations by Kenyans who were in toxic relationships on how they managed to get out.

*Simon said, "Maina, People stopped acting like they deserve anything good in this life, When I realized my relationship was toxic.

I was never allowed to have fun, talk to other girls, in short, I explained everything including nothing just to make her stay.

Then I woke from stupidity of love, knew what I deserved and decided to order my happiness in wholesale!!

Let people stop pleasing society, If it's not bringing happiness move out, Being single and happy  is not a sin,-it's written anywhere in the Bible!"

*Mary shared, "I once dated a guy who was toxic, he used to beat me. You walk with him and someone says Hi to you unachapwa.

I got pregnant at the time he had relocated to Mombasa so he asked me to move in with him.

On getting to Mombasa I found out that he had another woman, so we were two women in the same house.

At first, the lady did not accept but after being beaten she accepted the situation.

I would also be beaten for four hours. The other lady had gone to work.

We were leaving in a bedsitter and I could not even leave as the door was always locked.

They would sleep on the floor while I was on the bed, they would even have s@x in my presence.

There is a day he beat both of us. Luckily for me, my parents asked me to go back home. My kid is currently 5 years old."
