Janet says she is thankful her family is now OK.
"Everyone got infected except my son. One day I left the house and I felt the air smelling funny. and that's when I felt something was wrong.
I got tested and the results came through my email.
We thank God we got helped, my daughter was the one badly affected because she couldn't breathe well.
I was scared and I had to constantly check on her. We had to put her on a lot of steroids. The doctor said that was the only way to help her.
My dad stayed in the morgue for two months as most of my family members who had assembled to plan for his burial had contracted the virus.
My mum also contracted Covid-19, I was very worried given her age, that is why when the injections became available we took her for the jab."
Janet says the experience was very expensive for her family.
She says she is saddened at how many people are suffering and can't afford the treatment.
