Dennis Musyoka who is famously known as Boss William Hausa in the popular TV drama, 'Maria', says he retired from his accounting job to pursue acting.

William says he was born to act.

Speaking during an interview with Hiram Maina, William shared, "I am an accountant by profession. But I told myself I would retire at a certain age as my first love is the theatres which I did."

He added, "For the last 20 years, I have been acting although I have side hustles. I retired because I was not born to work in an office, I get bored.

Balancing debit and credit documents bored me. I am not saying accounting is a bad job, it has helped me a lot in life but it's now what I was born to do.

My love and calling are in the theatre."

His advice to young people who think actors and actresses do not have to go to school, William advised, "In this job of ours (acting) you can go for months or years without a job so it's important to go to school."
