Celebrated Nigerian artiste Richard Mofe alias Pastor Ken has advised people planning to get married not to rush into it.

Mofe says the reason most marriages fail is that people rush hence end up settling with the wrong partners.

Speaking during an interview with Cheptoek Boyo, Mofe shared, "I have been married for 20 years and my advice would be, do not rush into marriage. If you find the right person it will last. Most people do not find the right person.

People give in to societal pressure and end up with the wrong person and it can only last for as long as it can. When you find the right person and make the decision to marry you will stay in it despite the things life throws at you."

On what are the values he teaches his children, Mofe shared, "Life is about values I was raised with a lot of them and I try to pass those to my kids.

I teach them to be humble and respectful, to love their work and aim to change the world. Leave the society better than you found it. Being humble never hurt anyone."
