Singer Mayonde has hinted to have turned over a new leaf. The 'Nairobi' hit-maker described herself as a prodigal daughter.

“Lamu photo dump as I give thanks for the hand of God in my life. A prodigal daughter returning to the faith, I’ve experienced more beauty, love and abundance in the past year than I have in a decade. Ooh, the glory! It’s all coming together as I let go of the striving and receive the kingdom. I have tasted and I have seen that the Lord is good,” she wrote.

The singer recently had a show at 'Perform Music Incubator' where she went on to hint more about her ministry.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the resurrection of Mayonde. I've died a thousand deaths, to be on this stage today and I'm so grateful that you are here with me to witness this moment, this miracle, this manifestation of the goodness of God."

Perform Music Incubator described Mayonde's resurrection as a real life miracle in motion.

"A revival of a dead dream and the celebration of Mayonde’s exploration of pop music. This showcase features some her most popular songs which can be streamed on all major platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. Check out Mayonde on her social media for the unfolding of further glory." Read their Youtube channel

Whether Mayonde is to make a debut into the gospel music industry or not is something we can only wait and see.
