Lilian Muli will be hosting Sunday Live news on Citizen TV alongside Jeff Koinange.
This is after Jeff's co-host, Victoria Rubadiri left the program on September 5 and headed to a BBC training.
On Sunday, Jeff Koinange welcomed his new co-host with whom he shared light moments off the screen.
"Taaaaaaaanite....Great Anchoring Sunday Live with Lilian Muli. Thanks for coming through and killing it! See you next Sunday same time same, same place!," Jeff Koinange wrote after their first broadcast.
After co-hosting the show for more than a year, Victoria Rubadiri took a three months break to pursue career goals in London, United Kingdom.
The 3-months training that she will undergo is courtesy of the BBC Komla Dumor Award that she won in 2020.
During their last broadcast, Jeff wished Victoria all the best, and gifted her a cake.
“Well done, you are a great co-host and the show has been amazing. Enjoy London and make us proud.
We know you are going to shine like a diamond. Here is a cake for you. We will cut it afterwards, but for now, let us wish you all the best Victoria,” he said.
