According to recent statistics by Statistics Kenya, single people are leading with mental issues. The survey was carried out between September 1st, 2020 and September 2021.

The survey represents Kenyans aged between 5 to 100 years.

According to the findings, 51% of single Kenyans are dealing with mental issues followed by 43% of married people. Separated people, divorced and widowed people are at 3%,2% and 1% respectively.

Agewise, Kenyans between 31-40 years lead by 37.7% followed by ages 18-3o with 20%.
