"Rest in peace my co-wife," Mary Kilobi says in moving letter to the late Orie Rogo Manduli

Kumbe Mary Kilobi and the late Orie Rogo Manduli were close friends. This was revealed in an Instagram post Francis Atwoli's wife made today that was also accompanied by photos of the two together in the past.

In her tribute, the KTN journalist shared a heartfelt message for the late NGO boss where she disclosed that she and Ms. Manduli were closer than most people knew.

She noted that the two used to affectionately called each other co-wife. 

"Rest in Peace Min Piny, my Co-wife as we always referred to each other, Orie Rogo Manduli. We will miss you so so much , will miss your visits to Kajiado and the wonderful moments we shared as just girls. Rest in Power Mama. Nind gi kwe Osiepa."

Fans and followers condoled with Mary after she posted the message. 

According to a report in the Nation, the late Orie's daughter Elizabeth disclosed that her mother had been recuperating at home in Riverside Nairobi, when she suffered a fatal heart attack.

She added that Ms. Manduli was supposed to go and visit her farm in Kitale next month before she died.

Elizabeth said that the family suspected that Ms. Manduli had not recovered from the loss of her daughter Alison in January 2020.

We feel like the death of Alison really took a toll on her,” Elizabeth said.
