Uhuru Kenyatta's niece Nana Gecaga could not hide her joy as her son Jomo turned 6 on Saturday.

Jomo is named after Nana Gecaga's brother Jomo Gecaga.

Nana's brother is named after Kenya's founding father Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.

Nana is a mother of three.

Celebrating her son on his big day, Nana penned,

"MY JOMO TURNED 6 TODAY... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOMO... MAY GOD CONTINUE TO WATCH OVER YOU AND PROTECT YOU. WE L♥️VE YOU."

The soft-spoken lady is a single mother having parted with her husband cum baby daddy.

Her firstborn son Udi turned 8 in July.

In a past interview, Nana revealed she walked out of her marriage as she did not want to use her kids as an excuse to hang around.

"I have stayed in a relationship just because, but at a very young age, I said I have been here and I have seen people stay in relationships just because of the children.

Kenya (her last born) wasn't even born when I walked out."

Nana currently serves as the CEO of the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.
