Photo of Demathews' widows sharing genuine embrace excites fans

John De Mathew passed on in 2019 after a fatal car crash. He left behind two widows, Sarafina and Carol who have maintained a close friendship but also the Mugithi singer's memory.

Yesterday, Sarafina posted an image on her social media of her and Carol holding each other in a close embrace. The two looked like they were in the best of spirits with their wonderful smiles as they rocked white outfits.

Fans were impressed at the camaraderie and love shown between the two widows, something that is uncommon in most cases where a polygamist dies.

The photos were taken on August 14th when John DeMathew's friends and family marked his second death anniversary at the Delview Annex Lounge.

The co-wives would also sing a song for the late singer together. They later clarified that they weren't holding the celebration for clout but to remember the prodigious De Mathew.

"I was doing it for my husband, not for fame or money. I'm not being rude, because I've seen some messages claiming I can't sing. After all, I already have the fame but I was doing it to celebrate my husband," Carol noted.
