Alfred Mutua tells Jalang'o why he called Lillian Ng'ang'a "Honey" during birthday bash

Today, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua spoke to Jalang'o in what was arguably the most anticipated interview of them all this month.

The politician was asked about why he had called Lillian Ng'ang'a his ex-partner honey at his birthday party held at the Ole Sereni this past weekend.

He reiterated that the two were still friends, saying,

We agreed with Lilian not to address our issues in public. All I want to say is this, once you have given your life to somebody for a long time, it behoves you to focus on the positive elements of your time together rather than any small problems you might have had."

Adding,

It is very important in relationships that you respect each other when you are together or not together and to leave room for reconciliation and friendliness so that even if you’re with other partners you can still remain friends and work together,” he said.

He also narrated that Lillian had encouraged him to hold the bash. During the event, she was accorded VVIP treatment and even the honours of sitting beside him.

The area was secluded with only Mutua, Rayvanny and Raila Odinga allowed in. Lillian was so honoured that she was even allowed to cut the cake along with Mr. Mutua.
