•Ben Pol is reported to have filed for a divorce early this year

Ben Pol has been shying away from speaking about relationships, let alone advising anyone about love.

The singer who recently started acting was reported to have filed for a divorce from his Kenyan wife Anerlisa Muigai.

It is not confirmed if the two have finally signed the papers but when asked whether he is single, he said 'I don't want to comment on that.'

But in a past interview, he described himself as a notorious bachelor.

Well, the 'Moyo Mashine' hitmaker has asked people to follow their hearts and not listen to what society says about their relationship.

"Watu wafuate mioyo yao inavyowatuma. Tuwachane na mambo ya oooh unajua kimila zetu, jamii itaonanje? sasa hii italeta picha gani. Siku hizi hakuna mambo ya picha, fanya unachojiskia kwenye moyo wako...

(People should follow their hearts. Let's not talk about our culture this and that, what the society will say or what picture it will bring. Just do what you feel like doing)....Listen to your instincts what your heart tells you."

He added that

"Wachana n amambo ya kwamba oooh unajua sasa hivi mahusiano yenyewe machanga, watu watanaje, jamii itasemaje?" (Don't start saying the relationship is young, what people will say)

"Wachana na hayo mamabo utakufa (Leave such things, or else you'll die)" he added
