Ex Nairobi women rep Racheal Shebesh has advised people who get kids early not to assume that their dreams have died a silent death.

Shebesh became a mum at 19 and although this slowed her a bit she picked herself up and went on to follow her political dreams.

Speaking during an interview in Churchill show the  bubbly politician narrated,

"I got my firstborn at 19 after high school.

I was not worried, my dad was excited but my mum was strict and a little disappointed.

I did not even have to tell my mum about the pregnancy she noticed it and questioned me first.

They accepted the news very easily. Luckily for me, I had cleared my high school education.

We were together throughout with my husband, he did not run away after learning I was pregnant. He has been brought up well.

I cannot regret having my son. He stopped my education for a while but I did not mind."

Shebesh is a mother of  three, describing her kids, she shared:

'My firstborn son is aged 32 so is my adopted son TJ, my last born is 22 and is a professional football player with Kakamega Homeboyz.

I also have a grandson. I do not miss having a daughter.

I suspect I would have been too strict and over protective like I am with  my nieces."
