Racheal Wambui Shebesh has said her husband Frank Shebesh is the best gift she could ask for, he is the man of her youth.

Having come from a well-known family, Shebesh says her husband does not like publicity.

Shebesh's dad was a mayor hence she is used to the limelight, the fame, and trolling that comes with it but her husband prefers staying behind the scenes.

Speaking during an interview with Churchill, the mother of three shared:

"He is very special very humble.

He is a Luhya from Kakamega, he does not love pressure he does not love being a celebrity.

He even uses buses and Matatus. Sometimes he even goes to Kakamega by bus. He is like if other people use buses why not me?

We love him because he keeps us grounded."

Shebesh says having married a man from a different tribe would have been frowned upon but her family was very supportive.

"As Kikuyus, we sometimes don't know how to differentiate between Luhyas, Kisii's, and Luos.

For a very long time, they thought my husband was a Luo.

For some time they did not know my husband was a Luhya. Also, the fact that I was marrying outside my tribe did not affect my parents."

Shebesh added that her kids don't know how to speak in their mother tongues (Kikuyu and Luhya) saying they are Kenyan.

Are you married to a man/woman from a different tribe and how did your family take it.
