It's over! Lillian Ng'ang'a dumps Governor Alfred Mutua

Sad news is emerging from the political landscape. Machakos governor Alfred Mutua and his long-time partner, Lillian Ng'ang'a are no longer together.

This was confirmed by Lillian herself on her social media. She wrote,

"The only constant in life is changing and we must be present and aware to appreciate and embrace it. Winds of change blew my way and two months ago, I decided to end my long-term relationship with Dr. Alfred Mutua. We had a good run and I am forever grateful to God he brought us together."

She insisted that they remained as friends. She said that she was done being called the Machakos first lady but that she would still be involved in philanthropic projects that were close to her heart.

She concluded by saying that God's plans are always for one's good.

The Machakos governor also spoke on the break-up on his social media saying that the two had been a blessing to each other.

For his part, he said that it was a mutual decision for them to part ways and insisted as Lillian had that they are still close friends.

Alfred was magnanimous in his praise for his former beau stressing that she had been an excellent first lady, adding that she would go on running her foundation in the county.

He said that he would still keep her as a close adviser as he governs Machakos and also for his mooted run for the presidency.

He said that she had always been his biggest fan and that their love for each other was permanent. Read the rest of his response below:
