Celebrated female DJ, Pierra Makena is excited as she is set to host a Sol Generation live performance.
Being a big fan of Sauti Sol and Sol Generation, Pierra feels like the honour is a dream come true.
"I truly can’t wait for this as I plan to bring my ‘A’ game on this one. I am a huge fan of Sol (Generation) and last I watched them in Dar (es Salaam), they were obsessively electrifying," Pierra Makena said.
She went on to praise the music group for their work, and dedication to it.
"These guys are amazing. They have taken music production in Kenya to a whole new level. Since the release of Extravaganza and now the new Sol Filosofia dope album, you can see how they are pushing the envelope to put Kenyan music on the world map.”
Pierra Makena will be the host and official DJ of the event that will see Sol Generation perform songs from their new Sol Filosofia album.
The exciting opportunity comes barely weeks after Pierra's big concert in Meru County was cancelled on grounds of failure to adhere to COVID-19 protocols.
