Guardian Angel's lover Esther Musila says she took a 4-year career break to raise her children.

Speaking in an interview with Sunday Nation, the 51-year-old said;

"Between 1990 and 1996 I worked in the Advances Department at Kenya Commercial Bank. I then took a four-year break from employment to raise my young children."

The mother of three added that she carried on with her career after her last born was of school-going age.

"In 2001 when my last born was of school-going age, I applied for a job at the United Nations, UN-Habitat, where I was initially given a three-month contract as a maternity replacement. I will be marking my 20 years of service as an International Civil Servant on August 7."

Musila has been a career woman since 1989, where she worked as Secretary to the Financial Controller at Mea Ltd, Nakuru.

She has served in the corporate world for more than 25 years.

Last week, Musila celebrated 20 years of service to humanity as an International Civil Servant.

She wrote on Instagram;

''I pray in my small way, I have made a worthy contribution having worked with the youth in my early years and now with water and sanitation programmes in Laos and Nepal which I enjoy. I thank the Almighty for it all and the experiences.

Congratulations to me, thank you Lord for bringing me this far, I don't take it for granted. You have been so faithful to me, I give you all the praises.''
